Prof. Arne Koertzinger is a leading expert in the marine carbon cycle. His interests include the development of methodology, autonomous ocean observation, long-term ocean observing and the oceanic uptake of anthropogenic CO_2. He is co-chair of the SOLAS-IMBER Carbon Coordination Group and a member of the Global Ocean Ship-based Hydrographic Investigations Panel (GO-SHIP)
